Non-destructive digging
Finding an underground service before you start digging can save a lot of trouble on a busy worksite. Pipes, cables and other infrastructure aren't always easy to identify from the surface, particularly on older or established sites. Non-destructive digging (NDD) uses high-pressure water to break up the soil, then removing the loosened material with a vacuum. This gives operators a clearer view of what's beneath the ground and allows excavation to be carried out around existing services with greater precision.
