Thanks Mick & Safe Travels!

Date published 27 July 2021

We are honoured to be celebrating the career of Mick Hartas, a Water Truck operator for Seymour Whyte Constructions and one of the construction industry’s quiet achievers.

Just over 3 years ago, Mick took the controls of one of our Dry Hire 13,000 litre Water Trucks on Seymour Whyte’s M1 Pacific Motorway Projects (Mudgeeraba to Varsity Lakes and the Varsity Lakes to Burleigh Upgrades). After more than 21 years with Seymour Whyte, Mick is calling it a day and is about to embark on a round Australia adventure in his beautiful motorhome.

It’s always a pleasure to work with real professionals like Seymour Whyte and dedicated guys like Mick who take pride in their work (and look after our kit!). Mick’s outstanding career as a machine operator and team player was celebrated at a special morning toolbox where Senior Site Supervisor, Brett Crow and H2flow Hire’s, Anthony Betts presented Mick with a specially framed and signed team memento of his final project with both H2flow Hire and Seymour Whyte.

Thanks Mick and safe travels!
