Northern Rivers Rail Trail

Date Published 14 June 2022

Fantastic to see one of our Dry Hire Mini Tippers working on the 1st Stage of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail project. Props to the construction team from Hazell Bros Group who’ve also had their hands full assisting with the recent Northern NSW flood clean-up efforts.

The initial 24km stage, called the Tweed Valley Rail Trail, runs from Murwillumbah to Crabbes Creek and is due to be completed later this year with original rail lines being taken up and replaced with bitumen in urban areas and gravel in rural areas, as well as upgrading 26 bridges.

When completed the full trail project will run 130kms from Murwillumbah to Casino.

Pictured here are Hazell Bros’ site engineer Josh Mathias and site foreman Anthony Gordon.

Based in Beenleigh, H2flow Hire’s Dry Hire Trucks and Trailers are easily mobilised to sites throughout Queensland and Northern NSW. Get in touch with our team for a quote.
